When I started the headlamp relay upgrade I saw the wires coming from the loom to the driver's headlamp were gray with black trace and pinkish white. I know the gray with trace is the high beam. However, per Chiltons and every wiring diagram I can find online the low beam wire should be gray, not pink. The low beam wire from driver to passenger headlamp is gray, like the diagrams.

Any thoughts why?

I know CJ wiring is not always true to what the factory says, but was just curious.

So I completed the upgrade, but now the fuel pump sometimes turns on/charges when I turn on the lights with no key in the ignition. It doesn't do it anytime and I can find no rhyme or reason for when it does. I didn't tap into the TBI harness and the only 'connection' I can think of is the fuel pump is tied into the starter solenoid and the relays are drawing power from the alternator.

Any thoughts why this is happening?

The lights are definitely brighter though and I don't think the fuel pump charging is going to be an issue.

Thanks in advance.
