This will be the 2nd Annual Moab Jeep-CJ Trail Ride!

Place: One of the world's best places to wheel, Moab UT.

Itinerary:

Sunday night: meet and greet at Moab Brewery Moab Brewery: Moab's largest restaurant and only microbrewery

*Note start time. This will be the longest trail run of the week we need an early start.

Meet at McDonald's located at Main St and Kane Creek Blvd (you have to enter Mc D's from Kane CR) FRS, or CB-5.
*7:30 Driver's meeting
*7:45 Leave for the trial
After the trail ride food and drink, open

Thursday: Flat Iron Mesa (R-6)

Meet at McDonald's located at Main St and Kane Creek Blvd (you have to enter Mc D's from Kane CR) FRS, or CB-5.
8:45 Driver's meeting
9:00 Leave for the trial
After the trail ride food and drink, open

Friday: Open/TBA I have several trails in mind but rather leave this date open for a group decision. Last year we liked Fins & Things/Hell's Revenge so much we ran it twice.

Notes:
Sand Flats Recreation Area: there will be a $5 fee to enter the park or one time $10 fee per vehicle that will cover us for the week.
Most of the trails will have an elevation of 5000 ft, except Top of the World at 7000 ft
Hell's Revenge and other trails have go arounds to avoid obstacles if need be.
Nothing is carved in stone we can make adjustments to the trails as we go.

What to Bring
Your street-legal 4x4 vehicle, in good working order, with no major leaks or mechanical problems, and tires with respectable tread life remaining. We will be running on paved roads and as such every vehicle must be registered, inspected, and insured per your state's requirements.

-Lunch - We'll be eating on the trail as we go - not a specific lunch stop location

-Good attitude! We're here to enjoy our hobby.

Other Important Info
We observe Tread Lightly! guidelines, no exceptions. This means; respect for the environment and setting an example of responsible enjoyment of the outdoors. Pack out all trash you bring in. Tires WILL be aired down to limit wheel spin. Mud & water will be navigated no faster than needed. Our group will travel in a way that will minimize damage to the road and erosion. If you're not sure what is appropriate, just ask a leader or gunner for advice on airing down and Tread Lightly in general.

At this time there will be a 12 rig limit.

Carol and I will be there, God willing! Carol wants to know if you have your reservations already, Posi?
BTW, this will have to be a Jeep - TJ week for us. We like it a lot better at Moab.

Not yet, but I'll let you know before I do.
Title say Jeep-CJ so any Jeep will do.

Definitely in! Can't wait!

I'll be there and Ben will be riding in my jeep. :chug:

We have 5 spots left.

Bill D, Carol, and I have booked our rooms.
I would recommend booking sooner then later
We're going two weeks later into the wheeling season compared to last year and prices are going up.
Camping, motel, Airbnb

Can you put me on a maybe list? I sure would like to go but it hinges on a couple things.

Ahhhh... I want to go some kind of bad, but not enough vacation and not enough funds. One I will make it out west (hopefully with my Jeep)

Once again I missed on one of these trips. I’m hopeful to meet wheel with y’all in 2019!

Bad timing on this one, but the wife is down for a trip to the red rocks, so I've got that going for me.

I’m in as it stands now...

Once again I have to pass. I’ll still be in my year long training program at work which allows for zero time off. Colorado 2019 is pretty realistic though!

Y’all have fun!
