Posting Problems - The End!
Thank you CJ

So, if a long time poster here can't login anymore should he dump his cookies or contact the administration about the problem?

HH and for everybody else: It is always good to go into your browser's settings and delete your cookies and your history often. Cookies are programming that helps a website remember what things you looked at. It then will try to taylor your next experience to that. A good example: Go to Amazon and look at a bunch of car lights. Then go to a sight with lots of Google ads. Most of the ads will be for lights. Google ads knows you were interested in lights by your visit to Amazon and the cookies you generated. There are other examples too. By deleting those and your history once in awhile, your system will run better. Your history saves web page information so that when you hit the back button or go back to a specific page you have already visited, your computer doesn't take as long to reload that page. The disadvantage is that page has not been refreshed with any new information most of the time.

Hope this helps some of you understand what is going on. There is a lot more to it than that, but you get the ideas.

Good advice PB, one thing I will add is that this site only uses cookies only for login info (if you check the remember me box.) All threads and forums you have or have not read is saved in the database. I do this so if you are using multiple computers or mobile devices the content will be the same.

Glad to see its fixed!
