prestolite ignition control module

i have a 75 CJ5 i hve had problems with the ignition firing i have installed a new distributor and coil and prestolite ignition module and still no fire and a nother problem is that somebody had started wiring the ignition and never finish so iam just going by what i have found online somebody please help me iam almost bald from pulling my hair out

I would try and locate a wiring schematic for your vehicle, possibly online or in a repair manual like a Haynes.

How bad is the current wiring? If your trying to just fix it than Torxhead is right find a good manual preferably in color and let the fun begin!! I had the same problem with an unfinished project that had a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l and decided that an HEI conversion was well worth the $80.00 . Not sure if it will work on your engine though.
