Build Thread Project '67 Tux
I got my tailgate rebuilt, I cut the rotten bottom off and put in a replacement piece I made from a piece of conduit and a piece of 1/8" flat stock. Built a new frame with 1 1/2" x 1/8" angle and salvaged the hardware.
 
I also got my parts from my friend with the sheetmetal shop. We made back corners, rocker panels, floor pans, fender corners,and some material for misc. patches and pieces. He made the main bends for me and I'll do the fitting in my shop.
 
I'll see what I can do to get better pics in the future.

Good job on the tailgate...looks great!
 
It sounds like you know what you are doing and heading in a great direction. Its encouraging for me as I get started.
