im looking to get rid of the QuadraTrac t case, what tcase should i go with along with what axles should i go with? Help is greatly appreciated thanks

We would need to know what your plans are for how you will be using your CJ before we can begin to recommend something like that.
Why do you want to ditch the QT? Are you planning to keep the Transmission in it already?

- 1979 Jeep CJ5 with 304 V8, T18 Transmission, Dana 20 Transfer case with TeraLow 3:1 gears, 4.88 axle gears, Detroit Locker up front and Ox Locker in back with 1 piece axle shafts, 36" SuperSwamper SX Tires, Shackle reversal, MileMarker Hydraulic winch, MSD 6A ignition.
Get a Dana 300 TCase. You will need this adapter too.
Adapting the TH400 to the Jeep Dana 300 Transfer Case
Then you will need an axle with a centered diff.
Lastly you will need the lengths of the drive shafts modified.

reason im geting rid of the QuadraTrac is it dont have a low range the one i have dont have the box for it. Also i wanna be able to put it into 2 wheal drive. The jeep is more of a silver lake/street/ carshow toy

You have 2 options I would recommend:
1. I already mentioned that you can get a Dana 300 , A $500 adapter, and replace the rear axle.
OR
2. Get a QuadraTrac with the low gearbox. (this gearbox can also be bolted to your TCase). Rebuild the QuadraTrac with a Milemarker part time kit for $400. You can then add locking hubs. This option will cost less because you won't have to replace the rear axle and the drive shafts won't have to be modified.

I think you might have to get the whole TCase used, maybe at a salvage yard or eBay. My thoughts are that you could either rebuild the TCase or just use the low range gearbox on your TCase.
