BAM BAM, finally on the scoreboard with a 2fer. I had a couple of pictures a week or so ago, but they didn't want to load correctly. I chalked it up to rookie mistake.

Came in from work today and took the top off just so I could say I've driven it topless this summer - and I admit I went trolling for a win. Wasn't having much luck, then drove past a small tire shop near the hose - almost went into the median turning around to look. While I didn't get a win, I got my first loss!! Been looking forward to a good loss since I got it back on the road.

Was hoping to meet the owner, but the guys in the shop said it had been sitting for a few days waiting on a sway bar. Current owner recently bought it from someone who obviously spent a dime or two........ said it wandered to much. I told the guys there to verify camber and toe-in, and make sure there wasn't any steering slop. But that thing was beautiful....

I've never seen an older 5 with a padded dash - but it looked original...

It even had the original Bug-Off screen!!!
