Re: Winning pics

Dang. I could of had a pic of a TJ trying to help jump start me this evening. He wins since I was a dummy and left my light son at work all day. At least the guy tried. The. Even helped push me to try and roll start me. His 2 week old Advance battery did not have enough to get me charged. And he wasn’t helping by not giving it gas to help the voltage. But he tried. And went the extra mile of pushing me a few times to try the roll start.

I’d guess it’s more on the jumper cables unless you ir he had heavy gauge cables... pretty much all modern cables suck. We double them up to allow more amperage to reach to dead battery.

Atleast he tried!

Re: Winning pics

Nah. I have a nice set of heavy duty cables in the Jeep. Learned that one a long time ago. But once my wife came out and I hooked up to her battery, a few minutes later, boom. We were in business.

Re: Winning pics

Wrangler looks kinda saggy from behind

Yeah man, those springs are worn out back there...

I put a 2.5" BDS spring kit on my CJ earlier this summer, and my rear left spring flattened out. In the middle of a warranty claim...it rides a good 1.5" lower than it should back there on that side. She's hiding in the garage until I can get her that new hip!

There are some dudes around here that lift the front end of their trucks about 6" and lower the rear end about 2". I cringe every time I see one.

Sadly the ol Carolina Squat can be found in Roanoke... but only a handful... around beaches in NC I see them maybe 3 of every 5 modified trucks.

Looks like they only had funds for wheels, tires & half a lift...

Re: Winning pics

I have heard that called the “Carolina Squat”

I've seen about a half dozen in the last couple months...I'm over in Tidewater, so there's a lot of special people around here.

Heading down to tidewater today to have thanksgiving with my parents. I grew up in Hampton.

See that a lot in so cal, sadly. Flat bill hat wearing young guys that think their rig is some kind of pre-runner ready for the baja 1000. For extra bonus points in that crowd, they replace the front fenders with giant bulbous fiberglass ones to give them more clearance for the front tire when they land after launching their pile of :dung: off of a jump. The ones with daddys credit card get the matching fiberglass bed with a spare tire (or two) mounted in back.... And for some reason, most are wearing huge white rim framed sunglasses.
