Rattling sound on Left side but only if left side

I have this tink tink sound of something loose tapping on sheet metal coming from the tunnel/foot well area. I can only reproduce it if I push down on the left side, when I am driving the road causes enough vibration to get that item moving. I have tried rocking the vehicle while I am under it and can not reproduce . I have looked for a spot that looks scratched or rubbed. anyone have a guess or ever had a similar issue?
I would say it is driving me crazy but the wife says I live there.

You might was to remove that tunnel cover to check things out and maybe go for a test drive with it off. It might be related to the engine/Transmission from being shoved back due to worn motor mounts.

X2 on ck'n motor/tranny mounts.
Also ck your clutch limkage.
I have also seen these noises come from body mounts too.
