1985 CJ-7. guess it has an 89 straight 6 with weber crab. Auto trans and transfer case (not sure what but stock [maybe 300 on the transfer]) open diffs. Hard top and doors
You rocking rear corner guards, if so which ones? I need to fix the corners up an thought the easiest way would be guards. So if you have any thoughts on them I would like to hear them.

I'm thinking of going with aluminium to save weight. They will be going on an 85 CJ7 with AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l in line 6 an auto trany.

Thanks in advancd

I got mine from one of the big box outfits made from aluminum and no precut holes. I have installed a side mounted gas filler that is higher up than oem with a straight fill hose to the tank for easier fillups. It has also made the rear rack more secure, plus I have mounted additional lower corner guards made from steel. The metal underneath got bent up from falling into a ditch and It also bent the frame, now repaired.
