1977 AMC CJ-5 Renegade: 258 i6; T-18A; Dana 20 (single stick, un-modded) Dana 30 front; AMC 20 rear; stock suspension (needs reworked, considering ome 2.5 lift); factory power steering
2009 Toyota Tacoma (dd), 1978 Hunter 33 (cherubini designed sloop, full time liveaboard).
hey everyone, just an update. we got the CJ5 back and its in gorgeous condition, going to be working on getting it running and the first system to get attention after reviving the motor will be the drive shafts, the slip joints are worn and will have to go to the shop for overhaul, the u-joints will also be replaced (ordering tomorrow). my guess work was right, its a AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l feeding a t-18a/Dana 20 combo driving a Dana 44 /AMC20 set of axles riding on 31's and flat stock springs and blown out shocks that will all get attention soon. first up is the motor, fluids, brakes, power steering, drive shafts, and fresh rubber.

If it has been sitting for a long time be sure to drain any old gas out and put some fresh in. And we need some pics.

still fighting with my phone to put pics up, looking like im gonna have to labor through a borrowed computer and email the pics to myself then attempt to post them here.

edit: the jeep is penny brown btw, looks cool.

Unless someone had it cut down that front axle is probably a Dana 30 .
