- 76 CJ5 304 all stock T-150 D20 4.10 gears
This is my 76, 95% stock, AMC 304 with 4.10 gears and TFI upgrade. It has factory power steering, I love that! A friend of mine was the second owner (I also know the original owner) but had a back and neck injury and the jeep sat for years behind his house. I was able to pick it up pretty cheap for a project and something to tool around the desert in. Someday a T-18 would be nice since the T-150 just isn't low geared enough. The body is straight but has some drilled holes to fill and some paint down the road. Have a new teenage driver and another one in a few months so the project gets a small part at a time.
This is how it looked when I went to get her.
This is after a couple of months and going thru everything, building bumpers and tire carrier and cargo rack, steering brace.
The jeep had a 4" lift that had ZERO flex, now she flexes enough to drive and I can stay in the seat!
TFI upgrade
Look forward to learning from all of you and getting ideas.
Thanks for a great site!
