I just finished bolting down the roll bar in my CJ7 . What a bitch. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the original roll bar. I spent two days grinding and filling. I still have to drill 4 new holes for bolts that shared off when the original owner removed the bar. Funny how a job that looks easy turns into a death march.

The joys and pleasure of working on a cj. Wouldnt change a thing. It will be worth the trouble in the long run.

Here's a question, there appears to be the remnants of weld on the body where the roll bar brackets meet the body. Were they welded as well as bolted on?
