roll cage?

Fairly new to the jeep world,now I understand....That being said,I would like to start out with a good safe rollcage that I will feel safe taking my family in,they love jeeps as much as I.Im looking for input wether to buy a kit, Gen right or Poison Spider or? Or to have it custom fabricated?Im not currently a rock crawler type guy,but who knows in the future.I dont want to look back and say shoulda.Any input would be appreciated.

do you have a roll bar right now?

if not have a local guy fab one up full cage style
if you do look at one of the add on ones offered by the aftermarket
I can tell you for a fact a full roll cage saved my life once, go for it

yes I have a roll bar but wont allow hard top.Going to sell it to help pay for a new one. Also it has cross members that dont allow acess to rear seat.So you think it should be a custom fab.

If you have a shop that you trust I would go with the custom fab.
If not something like the gen right, ect. might be the way to go, but you will still need a welder.
IMO have it tied to the frame either way you go.

I am with Old Dog on this, you need a custom fab shop so you can get the hard top to fit.
