Rookie question? Steering Wander?

Rookie question? Steering Wander?
Looking at your first set of pictures I noticed the pitman arm coming off of the steering
Try and tighten the pitman arm up and see if that changes any thing

Possible, but not a guarantee. The splines are a taper cut, and each pitman arm is a bit diferent, so fit's a little diferently, so there may be more or less spline reveal from unit to unit. Sure worth a look though.

I think I see the trouble
Look at the spring plates
That jeep has a extreme amount of caster. are you running reversed shackles with long shackles?
or nis that entire picture, the 4th one tilted.
if so forget what I just said.

looking at the next 2 pictures I get a bit confused again
shackles are forward, but one of them looks like a bit to much caster and the other looks fine.
two things I would check, first is the caster angle, that would be simple to check, the second would be to disconnect the pitman arm from the linkage and check the steering column for excessive play. All the geometry of the rods look good so, I would check those 2 items first.

Also kinda looks like shackle/spring hanger bushings are shot, might want to check those..
