Have you guys heard of a Roxor? They are made my Mahindra (they also make tractors) The Durango Harley Davidson shop is selling these. They look just like a jeep because Mahindra (an Indian company) has had the rights to make Jeeps since WWII. These are made in the USA.
There 2 drawbacks:
1. They are not street legal.
2. They have a top speed of 45 MPH
The top speed is because of a governor not redline so it shouldn't be too hard to disable that limitation.

It has a 4 cylinder turbo engine.
Here in town they are selling for $14,900 for the base model.
