rubber block or not ?

hi, on my 73 CJ6 there seems to have been a rubber block either added or missing between spring and back axel. which side is right !! many thanks, steve o

There shouldn't be a block in between the axle and spring, with a spring under setup that lowers the jeep on one side. Now if it were a spring over that would lift it, but it shouldn't be rubber, it should be steel.

Looks like one side was sagging so they quick-fixed it by blocking the other side

guess ill have to get it on some dead level ground and have a measure up, might be a new pair of rear springs
