Yep gotta pull my axles and take em to have the gears installed. And I'm gonna finish my bumper and mount my winch this weekend. Can't wait

Yes I have pete, I had two options with my "extra" money v8 conversion or gears, locker, and winch. Thought id be happier with the 6 if id just regear, plus my motor don't have many miles on it.

Good choice 2:73 gears suck even with a V8.

they are ok for on the highway really, but i don't drive it everyday anymore, so 4:10s will be better.
I loved the 4.10s in my CJ5 . Your gonna be pleased. If you arent driving it as much I may have went a little lower but either way wait till you feel the difference.

i can't hardly wait man, long time coming. gotta guy gonna set my gears up for $100 i just gotta take my axles out and strip em down to bear housings with the gears still in em. soon as i get my truck back from my little brother.I loved the 4.10s in my Cj-5. Your gonna be pleased. If you arent driving it as much I may have went a little lower but either way wait till you feel the difference.

hey to high jack my own thread, what do you guys think about this. i bought a 95 gmc sierra z71 extended cab leather, and loaded with 287,000 miles for $1000. i got a buddy wanting to trade me a 95 yj with 4cyl 5sp and 197,000. mine books at about $3500, his books at about $4600. would you guys make that trade.
Do want another Jeep or do you enjoy having the truck as well? Seems good to have the truck as well to me. Plus you can really struggle sinking money into 2 Jeeps. Trust me.

Yeah I like my truck but the Jeep is worth more. I wouldn't do anything to the Jeep but use it as a daily driver, it would be cheaper on gas. Idk just wondering out loud, I guess. Figured I'd ask what you guys thought.
