Hey Guys,

I'm getting around to painting the underside of the new scrambler steel tub I got. My question is... is there a good way to seal up all those little cracks and holes under there? For the money I spent on this thing, I don't want it to rust anytime soon and it seems like there are tons of little places for moisture to get stuck. Thanks for the help

Seam sealer is a must just like the factory prep but everywhere there is a seam, overlap, etc. 3M has a product and I used Dominion sure seal. get at least 3 10oz. tubes.

Thanks for the guidance. I'll start putting the sealer on tomorrow. And now the next question... is there any way to seal up all the holes on the underside. Like the ones on the floor supports? Some kind of harderning foam or something? Thanks!

By the way, I plan on painting the whole underside with rust bullet and then either a decent rubberized undercoating or Herculiner. Here are some pics of where I am now. I plan on posting a big thread when it's mostly done. You guys would get too bored waiting for updates with how long this is taking a newbie like me.

It looks like you are doing a good job so far with it. The frame looks good.

Thanks. The frame is pretty much done. I welded in some 3/8 steel in a handful of places and got it all down to bare metal and hit it with rust bullet and then just some primer and paint. New 2.5 springs and shocks and body mounts, new brake lines, gas lines and a few other things.
