My wife is complaining that she can't reach the pedals. She's 5'1''. Any thoughts on how I can move the seat higher and closer? I have the standard mounting bracket on my CJ7 .
Thanks

As you move the seat forward, it will raise on its own. It would take some box tubing, but you could easily put a some in between the seat and the slider or between the slider and the mount. Either way it's fairly easily done.

How much higher do you want to go?
A far as travel. Have you confirmed, that the seat track is moving its full length of travel?

Mine is the same way. My wife (also 5'1") had no problem with my old YJ. But one day when we had a bit of snow, she hopped in the Scrambler to take it to work. She could not press the clutch all the way in to engage it.

I have not done anything about it. I guess I don't have to worry about her driving it anymore.

But seriously, the only thing I thought of was getting a completely different seat with more travel in the adjustment. I need it all the way back so I can't move the mounting forward at all.

tape some blocks on the pedals, or her feet??:)

Sounds silly, but done right it works fine.

Just put the FSM between her, and the back of the seat-

I would suggest making a set of new seat brackets set up that you both can use. Using the slider and a tilt back for positioning. Tilt the front down so her feet can use the pedals. I bought my wife her own Jeep with fully adjustable seats and air conditioning.
