Sesquicentennial Texas emblem???

I recently bought an 86 CJ7 . It has this badge on the sides and I was wondering if any body knows any thing about it. sesquicentennial means AMC 150 year anniversary, and it has Texas on it... Was this a dealer thing? Are they worth any thing? I'm most likely going to remove the badges since I live in California.

Kind of a one emblem fits all thing . All about Texas and nothing about Jeep. Could be put on your sesquicentennial Beer refrigerator in the Garage.
