shackels or axel over ?
The problem with rewelding the perches is you start getting your driveshaft angle off.
Yep- the pinion angle to the world stays constant but the shaft angle to the case changes... :(

Good for caster, bad for the drive line...

if you have a 4 inch lift what size tire are you running becuse mine has a 3 inch body lift and 33s now so that is my next concern is if i go up another 4 inches it will look bad with 33s

I'm on 33"s with a 1" body lift. If I were you I would take some of the BL out.
Also the best way to deal with the steering (pitman arm) is with a tie rod, draglink flip.
See pic's of my jeep in the gallery for how it sits.

your jeep looks very good ! that is basicly how i would like mine to sit i do want to get rid of the body lift becuse i dont like the fact that it looks like the frame hangs down under it

For years I ran a 4" Lift. After almost Every trip, I was tired of breaking the Lower shock mount. I then did the Spring Over, front shackle reversal.

I also made sure that I moved the front spring 2''s forward so that I wouldn't stuff the front tire in the fenderwell. The ride is Very Nice. The Clearance on the Trail is Fantastic.

It does make it alittle Scary on the Highway..with that being said, when I ran the 4" lift, I Never rolled it. The second trip I ran the Spring Over, I went Over.

It is still nice for the Clearance.

If you run the ford shock tower with longer shocks this won't happen.:D

sorry i was going to move both spring mounts down. thats why i wasnt sure if there was any reason it wouldnt work i have 3 inch square tube 1/4 wall that i was going to use for the fixed spring mounts and i have 1/2 plate and i was going to go three inches and put a bridge are what ever you want to call it half way between the frame and spring bolt

Don't get carried away like this guy!

ya i will not i promise you i only want 3 inches of lift with the 3 inch body lift that i already have and 35s i think that will be plenty

I love my SOA, It rides better & tracks straighter than even stock Jeeps I owned before.;)

did you do your own spring over conversion?

I used a "Blue Torch Fab" bumper replacement SOA kit I picked up cheap on "CL". Then I did a high steer conversion with 1.25" tie rod, drag link set up.
Look in my album.;)
