70 cj6 4 inch lift
The T case issue seems to me the major issue with shackle reversal, and getting a custom long slip as 73cj shows is the cure for that.
I feel that most guys going for a shackle reversal are not going to want to spend the money and one day they will find out why they should have.
Like a lot of mods, it seems this will be a debated one till the end of Jeepdom as I fear it is an opinion thing.
Some what like the short arm/long arm debate with 4 links, seems the guys with them love them, the guys without them want them, but I notice if a guy gets rid of his long arm he gives a more balanced opinion of them, and he knows the limitations of them.
So until you have owned both, and are building a fresh jeep, I guess it is all speculation.
