My son hit a Large Pothole which we think caused the Right Front Wheel Studs to start Breaking Off
in the Extreme Cold.
I came down to his house and helped him with this job.

Still upper 50s here and protecting some plants. Tonight the pain starts and tomorrow morning around 26 with a serious wind chilling coming in from the tundra and plains.

Here's the Installation Tool to pull Studs in after you punch out the old ones.
Reverse a Lug Nut, stack of Washers, impact Gun, and presto Change-O new studs were installed.

Reinstall Caliper, wheel with New Lug Nuts, and we are out still on the Lead Lap !!
And I gave my son that Old Portable Air Compressor.
It was in the Blue Barn, and I have Another newer compressor in the Lower Barn if I need it.

Just a Follow-up......
Everything is holding well on the Wheel Stud Replacement.
Next come better weather, replacing the front fenders.
He is looking for some Flat Fender replacements. But we had only seen those Skinny Rock Crawlers. He needs something to at least cover 80% of the front tire as he uses this as his Daily Driver.
Any suggestions??

Metal Cloak makes some nice ones, but they don't cover very much. Genright makes some that might work. Their part #TFF-1710 look wide. Their part #TFF-1730 look a bit narrower and probably not what you're looking for. Of course you could make a set if you can do some basic welding. Check out this thread: Custom Flat Fenders

Next Venture is a Grand Junction, Colorado company that's relatively new. Their sales guy, Tyler Chase, is a good guy and I've wheeled with him a couple times. Their stuff seems very well made.
