Should I install these or not?

Should I install these or not?
:)So that partially fixed the problem re-adjusting the Castor that is?...........If you still have those cheapy Heim Joints on there and that welded Pittman arm you should really consider fixing that stuff also.........like I said fixing one thing is just one part of the complete system.............once it is done correctly you'll notice a huge difference.

Yep, I will - my pennies yet again! Now to get the wife to skip one barrel race!

:)Hey Jeff..........I hear you...........not to say people don't use Heim / Spherical joints for steering cause they do.....................but for the most part in Off road low milage applications , they do wear fast with no way on most to lubricate or seal them off.
I use them here on the Drag Race cars for steering and 4-link bars but I still believe in a multi-purpose Jeep like yours or mine a good 1-ton TRE will last longer than the Jeep will.
Another option is you can build the tie rods yourself if you have the right and left hand dies available to you. I can help you source the parts if need be.
I looked at those pictures again and one of those joints looked to be ground off for clearance on one flank?...........
Here is a picture of an Aurora High quality Joint .........look at the body thickness compared to the cheap one alongside and even though the shank is smaller it is larger across all other dimensions.

The Jeep rarely goes more than 5000 miles in a year - the majority is right here on the ranch - I was thinking of taking it to Sturgis (about 5 hours away) for fun - but now I am reconsidering. Thanks - I think Mike's is the answer - looks beefy/stout and I know I will need it when Elk Season rolls around!

:)Yeh buddy!........if you were my neighbor we would already have that finished!

Love to help but Stick with "Mikes" on those steering components..........there is a little thing called "Liability" if I were to build and ship steering parts.
