about time!! I can show this off and start on the next thing.
just finished the front "sport bar addition" I think it looks almost like it belongs there.
If I had a good idea, this was it. A lot easier to fit a squared end to the mount rather than cutting a miter on the end of the tube and trying to line that up. also would have been a real chalange to make a bolt on connection at this point.
this worked well, I discovered that if I ran the corner tube back straight to the existing bar it would be in the way of my favorite head. you will also notice that it is a bit more difficult to fit to an oblong tube. may leave this as is or fill with seam sealer and paint it , just to keep rain and spiders out of the joint.
the one in the center fit pretty well.
with this going asross the dash I don't think I need to put the "Oh Lord" grab bar back in. looks like a great place to hang the cup holder as well.
