Side Exhaust? options...

My CJ5 has side exhaust/mufflers the Previous owner put on (I really dont care for them) but as most dont want to dump a lot of money into this part of the Jeep (just yet) Kinda thought about a high temp flat white paint to match the wheels. just looking for cheap alternatives, pictures help alot im not to bright ....Later i think Im going with Nerf bars but for now this exhaust will have to do... Dont know if it should matter but i have started putting alot more chrome on her the side photo is the only good photo showing the exhaust, below it is a more recent photo. is there some type of chrome shields anyone knows of to clean em up?

I recently swapped out the AMC 258 i6 / 4.2l in my '83 CJ7 for a 360. I have step bars on it so I got a local shop to run duals straight to the rear with Magnaflow mufflers. Worked out really good.

Here is the look that was on my '80 CJ7 when I bought it in Nov 2009. "White Diamond" <O'Riley's> polish does pretty well on the aluminum, but this side hasn't been polished yet.

I ran cherry bombs with turnouts and they are just too loud. Im gonna replace them with turbos and maybe run them out the back. maybe then I can hear my sterio
