Maybe there's a quick answer here, maybe not.
Are self dampening mirrors available for CJ's. It seems like there should be something out there to calm down the mirror vibrations on a CJ.
I was looking at 18 wheeler mirrors the other day and started wondering if they were oil filled or something similar. My dad was a truck driver and even though a truck vibrates and shutters like the CJ I don't recall the mirrors dancing around.
Yes, I've gotten used to them and expect the big jumpy image, but is it absolutely necessary?
Ohhh to save a bunch on writing .... Yes they are tight, yes the three screws used to set the mirror are tight, yes I have replaced the plastic morror gromets with metal ones. That by itself was a great improvement.
