sm465 shift lever

i would like to know how to install a shift lever on sm465 Transmission . i to see some pictures if possible, of parts that go under the boot and bottom of lever thanks

Look down inside the tranny tower and make sure the three different rails are lined up so there is a straight rectangular slot for the shift lever to slip down into.

slide the stick straight down into the slot and push the ring down and turn to engage the tangs on the side of the tower.
