soft top question

hoping i may get my answer here, my hardware has rusted out and windows torn so im trying to price a replacement, but none show half doors? is mine not a cj top or my doors not cj doors?? any info would be great

I don't think they started using half doors untill the YJ. You probably have a CJ top with YJ doors.

here's a pic, may help..all the yj tops i see have square cornered upper doors?...but if this is the case could i get a yj top with half doors? tks in advance

looking for a new top with hardware for mine. but only list no doors or 2 piece...but i like my half doors....will the supertop with no doors fit mine?

Look at the corners. If the supertop has a rounded corner than it should. Your doors look like mine. YJ half doors with either the rare YJ rounded upper or with a modified TJ upper ( as mine is).

I just looked up the Supertop and the one that works with the full steel doors should work fine as it allows for the rounded upper corner.

Cool...an extra 300 bucks isn't worth it to me for the soft doors, and I like the halfs. Not heavy at all, and fit inside if I wanna yank em off.

The other problem is my drivers window is cracked? So what upper? Would it be better to get a yj top with uppers? But they are all squared.

You need to get a rounded YJ upper or a TJ upper and frame and modify the frame. I had set of rounded YJ uppers but they were in such bad shape that I trashed them and got ones from a TJ.

Sorry, but I don't have an easy answer for you. I did see some rounded YJ uppers on CL in Norfolk, VA a few months ago but they were pricey.

maybe i'll contact bestop and see what YJ top has rounded upper doors and get that if not to expensive or just get the hard door kit and keep looking for upper skins

I would call them. I am not sure if the rounded uppers can be purchased new. If so, report back.
