2. GAP setting ?
3. WIRES ?
4. Do I have points and condensor ?

1. i run autolites
2. if its stock, the stock gap
3. i have autolite wires from my work (advance auto)
4. no
5. if you offroad put dielectric grease on everything to keep water out
 
spark plugs come with the correct gaps nowadays. Just tell the man behind the counter what jeep you have.
Don't replace the wires unless you know they are bad. If you are not sure you can use an ohm meter to test them.

THANKS, that sounds too easy...:)
any thing else like fuel filter ETC just trying to do a general maintenance
 
if you don't know how old the fuel filter is then replace it.
PCV valve is just a couple of dollars.
Take out the air filter and try to look through it to see how dirty it is.
Squeeze the radiator hoses to see if they need replacing.
 
I used the E3 plugs also, they're awsome.
Used Ford 6 cyl plug wire set, better than the stock wires by far.
Dielectric grease
Also added the ford TFI parts and a chevy 4 pin ignition module.

trust me you want to check the gap. i work at a parts store and you dont know what that plug went threw to get to the parts store. we have got them with the boxes crashed by brake calipers among other things. people drop the boxes ect ,ect, ect

i was going to try the E3s in my honda. so they are that much better?
 
Yup kick <-BAD WORD->, even tossed one in the boys go-kart and it cleared up a miss

Trouble finding the pcv valve in the auto parts stores
 
i look for a small auto parts store in your area with a guy inside that looks older than 35 (no offense guys talking partsman )

i got mine next day order at work. im 32 so i think im close enough for the 35 year old cut off lol. :chug:

i know what you mean. i miss the old part store with the guy behind the counter with his dog smoking a cigarette lol. those where the days.

where did you find the bluestreak stuff? we dont carry it at my work anymore and i need the cap and rotor kits for a 79 ford 300cid.
 
I actully tried the smaller auto parts stores and others...
(but no cigar)
ended up having to order the PCV valve from QUADRATEC

one of the locals...but theyve said they order from woodys auto supply online sometimes when their warehouse doesnt have it
