Speedometer not working

I just had my Borg-Warner T-5 Transmission rebuilt and when I got it all back in, the speedometer doesn't work. I have checked it where it hooks to the Transmission by turning it and seeing if the speedometer turns. It does. Any ides?

I would start with checking if the speedo gear fits into the cable correctly. You might have to compress the end of the speedo gear so it will drive the gear with out slipping. I assume that it worked prior to the tranny removal, so you can have a good idea of where the problem is at. I once had the same issue and solved it by just removing the gear and cable and resetting it.

I also had to stab mine twice to make it work, not sure what I did wrong the first time.
