Ok guys, how do I remove the speedo to repair the water temp & fuel gauges?

unscrew the speedo cable, remove the light sockets, disconnect guage wiring and remove 4 nuts off the studs welded to the back face.

Well, you described how to get the speedo out... to replace the gaugues, you have to bend 4 tabs on the chrome cover, take that off, then the glass, then the speedo face comes apart and then you are staring at the gauges... you must get the correct gauges that were in there... there are different ones if I remember.

1 type is all round and the other type is kind of trapezoidal... get the right ones...

LOL - That is the difference between pre and post... I bet he needed both answers in the end... :)

Come on... Does it really matter? :) All the information needed and asked for - and more was supplied... That's what really counts! :) :)

I have an easier way. Remove the cluster, throw the GD thing in the trash, order complete new unit for $104. :D

104.00 where can I get one.mine works fairly well but could really use an up grade.is the whole cluster or individual gages, plus speedo.i could probably find some on my own but always could use a little help sometimes.thanks!
