Speedometer Repair - Stewart Warner

While "fiddling" with the speedometer trying to get it to work, I managed to break off the piece that the cable screws into. I would just replace the whole thing, but it appears that this particular gauge is obsolete (Stewart Warner 835633).
Can anyone point me in a direction to someone that might be able to repair this?
I did find a Stewart Warner 86245 that looks identical. However it is electrical, and the one I have in mechanical. That won't work, will it?!
