Hello everyone,

I am replacing my old beat up gauge cluster on my 67 with a set of autometer gauges, I have purchased four 2-5/8 gauges and a 3-3/8 tach, but I am not sure about the speedometer replacement. I'm from Canada and am looking to get a gauge that reads KPH, the only one autometer lists says it is electric and needs a sending unit. Are there different sending units for different transfer cases, or is it a universal size and thread? I'm hoping I dont have to make any complicated adaption.

Most digital speedos have to. Be calibrated, but can be done easily. Check for an owners manual on line or call the mfg. Many also go from mph to Km by pushing a button.

On mechanical speedos the drive is almost always the same...cant recall the actual size right now.

Just get a mech one...but I havent found one that will fit the stock jeep size though so you'll have to mod the dash.
