You are correct, that SUCKS!

Yeah that would definately get me a bit pissed. Im gonna be changing the lines on mine and was scoping it out. Looks like removing the grill and radiator will be nessacary.

It's actually easier to remove the three side bolts holding the gear box to the frame bracket, then just lower the box...

Wholly agree. Drop the box, swap the lines and re hang it.

I have my eye on a PSC variable rate P/S box. But at $350 its expensive. :(
But I don't think I will have to re-install it due to leaks.

yea its a cardone.yes i to was looking at the psc. but right now rerbuilt will work. cant stand drips. i will pullit today.

Was looking through my old Jeep mags and found a great article on swapping in a toyota power steering box. It's on my to do list as I have no PS.
If yours is giving you problem, check out the yota boxs, upgrade and reliability.

Ok I'll check it out when it stops raining. :(

I aint puttin NOTHIN yota on my Jeep!!!!

Looked at this yesterday and it seems the way to go. The only thing is one bolt. It seems to be like a reverse torx bolt. The bolt "head" looks like the socket end Id use for a regular torx bolt. Recommendations on getting it out? I take it they sell sockets for these also? Thanx
Wholly agree. Drop the box, swap the lines and re hang it.
