I have seen the Cherokee column put in Jeeps and a '90s Cherokee column is pretty much a plug and play.

The bottom of the column will be in issue if its the "D" shaped end instead of the splined end as used in CJs. A steering shaft divorce and marriage may have to happen. I did a CJ/YJ combo for a buddy once.
