Stock CJ 7 info needed

Hi, can anyone with a stock CJ7 with original size tires help me out please? i need a few mesurments for my rebuild ...

-Ride Height at front center and rear( front ground to under frame please)
- Top of tire to fender (front rear)
-Center of axle to ground (front rear)

anyone with a stock CJ7 who can take these mesure for me would be greatlly helpful !

sorry my mistake, it is a 1983, but right not it is all stripped down for a frame up rebuild, so any CJ7 wide track mesurments will work out, it is mostlly for references during the build

Hey pr0zak8, I may be able to help in some way so here are some numbers.

One thing, I don't have stock tires but I do have stock rims. The tires on her right now are "31 x 10.5 R15 Lt 109 S"

(Tire measurement from concrete to center of axle is 14-1/4")

I would bet that someone in here knows how to figure out the extra height from my tires to stock tire height.

If I understood you correctly

Ride Height at rear = 15-1/4" (tape measure has a 3-1/4 base)




Ride Height at front center = 15"




Top of tire to fender (front) = 6-3/4"





Top of tire to fender (rear) = 8-1/4"




Center of axle to ground (front) = 13-1/4"



Center of axle to ground (rear) = 13"



Also I thought you may like these body to ground photos
Front = 19-1/2"



Rear = 20"



Hopefully these measurements will do you some good. Let me know if you need any others. Good luck!

I will definatly need to find how to get notifications on replies. If you have the time and do not mind, woult it be possible to get the measurment from the rear of the frame to the center of rear axle tube( i need the original position of the axle on the frame) and the same for the front, front of frame to center of front axle tube ?

I know the wheel base is 93.5, but i lost the paper I had with my old measurments, so I am a little screwed :s
