Misc. Stopped by the Park

Stopped by the park on Thanksgiving for a bit... The peacocks were out (there are ten or more.) First pic is from Thursday and I attached an older one also. They are still picking up debris from the last tropical storm. Check out the crazy speed limit!

Just got back from another trip with my wonderful Mother. Looks like there are some new additions...

Took Mother to the park to check the progress of the younguns shown in POST #2
They grow up so fast. Not old enough for the fancy plume but looking good enough to eat!

Do you grab them at night in the dark ?

Stopped by again and had one showing off. My mother was thrilled.

Tender when stewed. Not a fan of them if they live in the neighborhood.

Not a fan either if they are close by. So much noise! At my old house they were in a nearby neighborhood and I could hear them sometimes.
Thankfully these are in a park about twenty minutes away...
