Dana 300, SR-4, stock and rusting; I'm the fourth owner.
So I went out the front door and saw a shopping cart next to my house.

View attachment 20229

Someone stole a shopping cart, from a grocery store about 1/2 mile away, and left it in front of my house.

I called the store that owns the cart and explained that someone left one of their carts in my front yard.

The store manager took my name, address and phone number.

Apparently they'll come and get it as soon as they're able.

I asked him if I should secure it and just said, "If you could move it to the side of the house, that'd be helpful."

WTF? How about you come get it now!?!?!? That'd be helpful!!!!

I didn't say that. Something about not having anything nice to say... I think that was mom's rule. Anyway....

Then I thought this oddness might make for an interesting thread.

Do you have any pictures of strange stuff in unusual places?

Nice find there JD, so give them a week to pick it up. If they don't come for it you can make something out of it.

Someone took the cart. I don't know if it went back to where it belonged, or if it was co-opted by a passerby.

I swear this city is getting stranger and stranger.

There's a lack of housing and an exploding homeless population - up 20% this year from last - and I'm starting to wonder if now is a good time to exit stage right. We have lots of rich people that potentially could by my house for 3x what I paid for it.

I, myself, am starting to feel like strange stuff in an unusual city; but I am not taking my picture for this thread :)
