Stuck Head Bolt!!!

I started taking the engine apart for a rebuild and I cant get the front right head bolt loose to get the head off! I tried using some WD-40 on it and still nothing tried using some more WD-40 over night and still nothing.

I used the air gun to try to get it off and still nothing! Also tried hitting the sides of the bolt with a hammer to see if it would just free it up some for me to get it off but nothing.

At this point i don't know how to get the bold off and starting to get mad.

Anyone have any more ideas????

When I have had stuck bolts, I turn the bolt back an forth to try and loosen it up. If you get it out inspect the female thread carefully,and retap the hole. If you end up stripping the thread, it will require something like a heli-coil or threaded insert. Good luck with that and unplug the air wrench.

AeroKroil works VERY WELL for stuck bolts as good as or better than PB blaster It is hard to find and pricy but it works great

The orange can is the only way to go for me. You can find it online (Penetrating-Lubricating Oils) or most of the time at oilfield supply stores. Welding shops can usually get it if they dont have it.

Stuff is better than a pocket on a t-shirt!!

Forgot to add, this stuff is expensive compared to WD-40. You just dont need as much, and it smells good to boot!
