As most of you know I bent a front spring about a month ago, I decided to call Superlift about it.
I was straight up with them, and told them they are 6 years old and I was rock crawl'n when it happened. He said I could sent it back and they would see if it would be covered by their warranty, but he didn't think it would be. I thanked him for his honesty and said I would not spend the money sending it back than. At that point he said he could cut me a deal on a new one. I asked if I could get 2 so they would match, he said sure.
They are sending me 2 new front springs for $40 each. I'm happy with the deal.:)

Wow, that's impressive! I have Superlift on mine, installed the wrong way by the PO in '98, corrected by myself when I bought the unfinished project last year... i wonder what kind of deal I could get if I ever bent one with a story like that! LOL

Good to know and well played Old Dog. Sounds like they did you right for 6 yr old springs. :)

Wow, that's all I can come up with

Nice. I was pretty sure I was gonna get these already , that just sealed the deal. :chug:

That is impressive that they actually have customer service. That is a big selling point for sure. How is the ride quality of superlift springs anyhow?

The ride was kinda stiff till they broke in (took a couple wheel'n trips), but than it was ok.
It doesn't jar you but you do feel the bumps.:D I think they are good for a cheap lift kit.

The Alcans that I have were for the front only. I needed a 5" lift to level out my CJ due to a Dana 44 front with 4" springs in the rear. They have 6 leafs with a military wrap on the pivot side and on the shackle side the second leaf goes all the way to the end of the spring. In '03 I paid $358. for them. I do think they have settled quite a bit, and would like to try another one of the high end springs. They do ride a bit on the stiff side, helped out with the newer style Rancho 9000s. There is an online questionare so they can build them to your vehicle.
