support mount for dana 20?

Alright, I am almost ready to start driving my CJ7 with the Chevy LT1 engine and TH350.
My question is do I need an additional support for the Transfer Case ? I am using the mounting pedestal built into the Transmission , but want to make sure it would be strong enough.
Any suggestions?

What adapter did you use for the TC? Did it have a provision for a mount? If so I would use that one. It would help distribute the weight. If not and the Tcase is close to the Transmission , it should be fine. You might consider making a torque plate if needed.

You have a very unique setup going in your Jeep CJ. You didn't mention what Transfer Case you are using. I know that the Dana 300 will bolt up to the TH350 and with an adapter there are others. Transfer cases are usually very heavy. Most use a skid plate for the mount with a regular Transmission type rubber or poly mount. Some will have a torque mount with the automatic transmissions. Most of these mounts are located between the Transmission and the Transfer Case . Not knowing your complete setup, it's hard to say where the mount will go and what are you attaching it to.
