I have an old glass fuse block in my fiberglass CJ7 . I want to put a newer dash in it with the plastic fuses, since I have one that is all wired and ready to bolt in basically. Can I leave the firewall half of the block that is wired to the lights and engine, or do I have to replace that half too?

Will it just bolt right up and I'm good to go? that' what I'm hoping.

And the answer is,,,,,NO. The connectors are 2 different sizes. I guess that's gonna be on the winter project list.

They changed dimensions several times over the years.. I would just look into getting an aftermarket harness like ezwire.. They can be had for under $200 shipped, if your gonna spend that mulch time rewiring I'd start with a good harness.
