trying to take the sway bar links off my 84 CJ7 and cannot get the top link off. Is this just a threaded pin/bolt that should be able to be driven out (towards tire)? I have beat on it, and tried a pickle fork but it will not give an inch.

Im gonna give you the benefit of the doubt that the EBay link you posted was an accident. PM me if you want to know what you posted - so try again...

:)
That bolt & the bar are both tapered where they connect each other , that with a little rust and corrosion for a few years will lock itself together. If you can take the bar totally off where you can get it on a solid surface it makes removal a little easier...........or some heat in that area might help, don't screw up the threaded portion. When you put it back together use some anti-seeze.
