Sway Bar?

Sway Bar?
Tin, exactly the info I was looking for. I appreciate your input.

Glad to help. Again though as already mentioned it varies according to the rig setup but I won't run on the road without it.

A lot of people said that sway bars help, but your testimonial was what I wanted. Yes they help, but exactly HOW MUCH? And what you said sold me. Without it was a big difference. A lot of things out there help a rig, but we need to weigh if it helps ENOUGH to make an investment in it. In my front axle i could have gone with 27 splines or 30 splines. The only hang up was that 30 splines HAD to be a locking diff, because there is no 30 spline open diff that fits my gears. so I had to weigh if the 30 spline would be worth getting the locking diff. Again, thanks:chug:

My CJ8 has the sway bar disconnected - drives great! I have no idea what 2.5 lift i has on it...

I feel ya on the slow part. I drive a buddy crazy with the way I take some of the canyons. He has a 78 Bronco with power steering and between the length and the steering he has it all over my rig in the corners. With the exception of an RV, semi, or a dummy from California, I am probably the slowest vehicle coming up through the canyons.
Mine drives pretty much the same sway bar disco'd or not, but then I'm just a dummy from California. lol
