Media hype and hysteria designed to boost their own bloated egos through ratings. A few people give up the ghost in Mexico, where the health care is suspect at best and the general population avoids regular health care, and the media wasts no time in hoisting it on their shoulders to parade it around. Truth is, this new "super mega certain death life on earth ending horror pig flu" responds well to the current list of approved treatments, no one in the US has died from it, and when they do, (If) It will most likely be the same mortality toll as any other Flu. The old and infirm, the sick and or weak, and the very young. Personally, I see it as a non issue. I HATE the sensationalist news media!!!!! Tom Brokaw needs to be on top of this, just like he was with the Anthrax threat that nearly killed every single American citizen.......oh..wait, that was just bull plop.....I can hear it now..And now to Tom Brokaw for an update on our BREAKING STORY!!! GM needs to get its financial under control. But so does the rest of the world.

Swine flu...Diseases have been around for as long as, well, everything else. Now they are worse, but that is because the viruses became immune to everything we have been using to try to kill them off. Now, we live with it. If you can prevent it, do so. If you get it, get treatment asap. If you get treatment too late, I will say a prayer.

MrsDale, you are pregnant. Stop watching the news NOW!! I cried through my entire pregnancy because of the news. AND DONT WATCH BABY STORY OR MATERNITY WARD EITHER!!!
