T-case swap

Hey Guys, will this work for me? Saw a 78 CJ7 at Oconee Off-Road.com (readers rides)with a 360, GM Turbo 400 and a Dana 20 Transfer Case , Dana 30 front and AMC20 rear. Would a Dana 20 go behind my GM Turbo 400 in place of my Quadra trac??? Thanks

I don't know off the top of my head, but look at Advance Adapters and Novak's sites and they should have the info you need.

Either way, you would have to change out the rear axle to a centered pumpkin version.

No the only Transfer Case that bolts to the GM Turbo 400 is the q-trac, plus like said before the rear end would have to be changed out as well. My buddies CJ has the q-trac and with a rebuild, low range unit he loves it. It's not worth much for wheelin though if it don't have a low range unit.
