T150 fill plug

I bought my first jeep a '79 CJ7 . I want to change the Transmission fluid and Transfer Case fluid. I found the fill plug on the passenger side of the T-150 but can't get it off. However, I have a plug on the drivers side that just about the same level that I can get to. Can I fill it thru this hole? It's the same size and type of plug that is the fill plug on the Transfer Case .

Yes, Not all T-150 's have the fill on the left. I think it's there because some times the TCase is in the way on the right side.
