Done, and owe many many thousands of dollars again this year. I made less this past year, and owe substancially more in taxes. It's not worth being self employed with the never ending hits in new taxes and fees being pushed on us every year. Our additional tax payment will exceed 15,000 this year, we lost about 40% of our retirement savings because of corrupt lending practices, then had the priviledge of having my share of the first trillion dollars of debt to bail them out of their self imposed mess, stuck on me. i a little bitter.....

I'm bitter also... I paid my mortgage on time - where's my help for all my other bills that I can't afford? Oh wait! That's right! If I can't afford it I don't buy it!
For the first time in 5 years, we qualify for a refund... too bad we still owe from last year. (Federal.)
But I mailed the state their check. Dumb firetruckers. Illinois is so messed up... and we keep paying them to keep it that way...

The only thing I liked about living there was you paid state and I think that was it, same with Indiana.
Here in the lovely buckeye state, we pay state taxes, city taxes for both the city where you live and the city where you work, and school taxes.
Then they all get more when you pay your property taxes.
I guess it wouldn't be that bad but the local forms are the WORST to fill out. I always save them for the last day.
